The “Trainwreck” star and Chris Fischer’s 3-year-old son, Gene, is now “home and better,” Schumer wrote while reflecting on her “hardest week.”
Amy Schumer experienced the “hardest week of” her life as her son, Gene, was “rushed to [the] ER” and hospitalized for RSV while she prepared for her “Saturday Night Live” hosting gig.Sunday, referencing the country’s recent RSV surge.
“I got to be with him the whole day at the hospital and the beautiful humans at [‘SNL’] couldn’t have been more supportive,” the actress, 41, continued, noting that her and Chris Fischer’s 3-year-old is “home and better.” In addition to thanking “the doctors and nurses who helped us,” Schumer concluded with gratitude for the NBC show.“The reason this show is so fun to do isn’t actually the performance or the show itself. It’s getting to spend time with the people there,” the “Trainwreck” star gushed. “The cast and the writers of course but the people who are behind the scenes making it run smooth are my favorite. The crew!”star’s balance as a working mom.
