Amy Schumer candidly discussed her recent medical procedure during her appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. She mentioned that the procedure left her less sexual and made her happier than ever before.
Amy Schumer shared on Sunday that she had a medical procedure that has kept her from wanting to have sex. The 44-year-old - who is separated from husband of eight years Chris Fischer - made the reveal when on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.
'I actually had, kind of, a botched colonoscopy, so I'm not feeling very sexual,' she shared. A colonoscopy is a preventive procedure where a doctor uses a long, flexible tube with a camera to examine the inside of your rectum and large intestine, the colon, according to the Mayo Clinic, for detecting colorectal cancer. But despite the bungled procedure, Schumer said that her spirits have not dimmed: 'I feel happier than I've ever been before.

'Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,' the movie star began her note. 'We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.
' The I Feel Pretty star joked that her dramatic weight loss and professional chef Fischer being a 'hot James beard award-winning chef who can still pull some hot tail' were not the causes for their break-up. The Hollywood star ended the post with: 'Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever.
' The former couple were first linked in November 2017 after they were photographed at a candlelit dinner together in New York City. Just days after they went Instagram official with their relationship in February 2018, they got married in an intimate ceremony in Malibu, which was attended by around 80 people, including Jennifer Aniston and Larry David.
Schumer shared a series of photos from their special day to Instagram, and she let the photos speak for themselves by simply captioning the carousel with: 'Yup.
