Property records obtained by The Post show the comedian quietly purchased a corner condominium on Central Park West for $6.25 million a year ago in January 2025 — buying the three-bedroom, 3½-bath apartment under a trust.
Amy Schumer has quietly returned to Manhattan, purchasing a $6.25 million corner condominium on Central Park West in early January 2025.The homeownership rate in New York is the absolute lowest in the USLast year, she announced a plan return to Manhattan so that she could be closer to her 6-year-old son’s school. Previous to her time in Brooklyn, Schumer resided on the Upper West Side.The Upper West Side home leans hard into classic park-front appeal. The apartment features sweeping Central Park and reservoir views from every room, anchored by a long great room lined with bay windows. A newly renovated chef’s kitchen sits just off the main living space, outfitted with marble counters, custom cabinetry and high-end appliances, according to the previous listing. The primary suite is set apart in its own wing with park views, a walk-in closet and a spa-style marble bathroom, while two additional bedrooms — both also facing the park — offer flexibility for guest space or a home office. A dedicated laundry room, central air, hardwood floors and a polished powder room round out the layout.The boutique building was designed by the late architect Costas Kondylis. It offers full-time doorman and concierge services, a fitness room, play spaces and storage, and sits directly across from the southern end of the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. Lisa Lippman and Scott Moore of Brown Harris held the listing. Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group repped Schumer in the purchase. Schumer, 44, did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.Schumer hinted at the move over the holidays while posting from the new home, shortly after closing the door on her Brooklyn chapter, which ended with the $11 million sale of her “Moonstruck”-famous townhouse for roughly $1.25 million less than she paid.In December 2025, Schumer sold her four-story townhouse at 19 Cranberry St. — the 1829-built home later featured in the film “Moonstruck” — for $11 million, about $1.25 million less than what she and her then-husband, chef Chris Fischer, paid in 2022. The property initially hit the market at $14 million before price cuts brought expectations back to Earth. Modlin represented that listing. The timing also coincided with major personal changes. In December, Schumer announced that she and Fischer were divorcing — an event that had been widely speculated — after seven years of marriage, writing, “Amicable and all love and respect!
