Amy has kept a movie ticket stub diary since age 12. She believes in the power of Chris Carter and Cate Blanchett and watching movies in a theatre.
Amy is a 3rd generation Cajun from South Louisiana with a love for the outdoors and dark interior rooms, respectively. She was a 'drama kid' in high school and competed on a national level. Amy is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she double majored in English and Fine Art. She is an artist of many mediums, but generally enjoys working with her hands over national holidays and life milestones to her family's continued dismay and befuddlement.
Amy could never choose between film or television, but she assigns a level of reverence to The Movie Theater and has referred to it as her 'cathedral'. She participates in an annual reading challenge via, where she tries to best her previous record. Amy is known to listen to film score over other music genres, to her wife's chagrin.
