Vice President Kamala Harris spoke about the release of the detained Americans in Russia as she left Texas.

There were hugs and handshakes all around and even some squeals of joy as Biden, Harris and family members welcomed them. Vice President Kamala Harris called the deal an “extraordinary testament to the importance of having a president who understands the power of diplomacy.”, Harris told reporters she spoke with Alexei Navalny’s widow, I thanked Yulia for her courage in continuing her husband’s work and reaffirmed my commitment to stand with those fighting for freedom in Russia and around the world.
"In February, many different people came together for another attempt to save them all. And now, they are all free,” Navalnaya wrote.
