The manner of death remains pending, and the victim’s identity has not been released. The body was discovered at a two-story, seven-bedroom home owned by Conan Harris, Pressley’s husband.
Boston police homicide detectives are investigating, and the report lists the suspect as unknown. TMZ reported that authorities found “absolutely nothing” indicating any connection between the death investigation and the property owners. Police say officers responded after receiving a walk-in report about a person who had been shot and was still inside the home. After sweeping the property, officers located the body near a bedroom, and emergency responders pronounced the person dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Pressley told People the property is a rental home and that the progressive congresswoman is not the landlord. Harris said his family is safe and offered condolences to the victim’s relatives. Five people have died in a river in Ohio. The group is thought to have drowned after trying to save one person who went for a swim and got into trouble in the Scioto River on Sunday.
Authorities said on Monday that they found two women in the water on Sunday who were later pronounced dead in the hospital. The bodies of three men were found the following day. The Guardian reports that authorities were alerted when a motorist found a distraught child on a nearby road. That child and a second youngster, both under the age of 10, have been placed in family services following the incident.
Delaware County Sheriff Jeffrey Balzer said the incident occurred in Powell, a suburb of the city of Columbus, and began when one of the group got into the water to swim.

United Airlines is investigating after one of its employees allegedly threatened to call ICE on a customer they accused of not being a U.S. citizen. The exchange allegedly took place at the ticket counter at San Francisco International Airport last week.
Julio Varela, 54, an East Bay resident who was trying to correct a name on one of his family member’s tickets so they could board a plane, said the employee was rude and dismissive. He claims he asked for her name so he could report her behavior to the airline. When she refused, he said that he took out his phone to begin recording her.
Footage of the incident shows her saying “maybe we should call ICE on you,” before adding that “you don’t act like a citizen. Get away. ” The ticket issue was resolved minutes later. Varela has since said that he was “so shocked” and “angry” after the exchange.
