The Federal Aviation Administration said preliminary information indicates a PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet collided in midair with a Sikorsky H-60 helicopter while on approach to the airport.A U.S. Army Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter flies along the coast, Nov. 8, 2024, in Laguna Beach, Calif.The Black Hawk helicopter involved in the crash was based at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, according to an Army official.
