A 35-year-old man and 43-year-old woman also suffered unspecified injuries.
Authorities seized high-caliber firearms, a loaded grenade-launcher attachment that was mounted on a rifle, multiple magazines, a tactical vest containing five loaded magazines and other evidence from the scene, officials said. The state attorney general's office said Sunday it has opened a criminal investigation for aggravated homicide and attempted aggravated homicide in connection with the shooting and will "continue carrying out all necessary scientific and legal investigative actions to fully clarify the events and locate those responsible, Officials did not say how the confrontation began or release any information about the suspects in the shootout.
