American Airlines is adding new flights to Tampico, Mexico next year.
On March 6, American will fly to Tampico International Airport on Mexico’s Gulf Coast for a new year-round flight. It’s the Fort Worth-based air carrier’s 29th destination in Mexico. It will be flown on an Embraer 170 aircraft with space for up to 65 passengers. The announcement comes as
“We’re excited to continue expanding our network of more than 230 worldwide destinations we serve directly from DFW,” said Jim Moses, senior vice president of DFW operations for American. “American is proud to operate as the largest U.S. airline in Mexico, and to give our customers this direct access to family, business and leisure destinations across the country.”Earlier this month, American announced it would add a daily flight to Barcelona beginning on March 30.
