GEORGE TOWN, March 23 — AMD Global Services Sdn Bhd will be expanding its global business services and engineering capabilities in Penang, the company announced in a joint press conference with InvestPenang, Penang Development Corporation and Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow today.
This announcement comes just months after AMD’s supplier and partner, TF AMD announced its RM2 billion investment through the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Penang. He said the expansion will be situated at PDC’s RM200 million “GBS by the Sea” building in Bayan Lepas.
