Shares of AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. rose 1.8% in premarket trades Monday as Taylor Swift’s concert film set another record.

“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” which opened Oct. 12, was expected to cross $200 million at the global box office on Sunday, according to Comscore data. IMAX, -1.64% also announced that “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” had a $13 million global box-office debut, making it the largest Imax opening for a concert or documentary film by a musical artist.AMC shares have fallen 74.5% in 2023, compared with the S&P 500 Index’s SPX gain of 7.2%.
