A judge ruled that AMC Networks had honored its agreement on sharing profits from 'The Walking Dead' with the show's creator and three producers who filed the lawsuit
By Joe Flint Close Joe Flint July 23, 2020 2:44 am ET A judge threw out several key claims in a lawsuit that the creator and several producers of the hit TV show “The Walking Dead” filed against AMC Networks Inc. AMCX 0.45% over profit-sharing.
Specifically, the group alleged that the in-house deal between AMC Studios, which makes the show, and AMC Networks was below market rate and allowed AMC Networks to keep a bigger share of the profits.
