'Lives of the Mayfair Witches' has been renewed for a second season on AMC after its successful first run. The upcoming season will delve deeper into Rowan Mayfair's journey as she navigates the complexities of her newfound power and responsibility.
AMC has renewed *Lives of the Mayfair Witches* for a second season. The news comes over a year after the first installment wrapped its eight-episode run.\“Season 2 continues the journey of Rowan Mayfair after she has unwittingly given birth to the demon Lasher,” reads the logline.
“She is determined to understand what he has become – human or monster? – and to use him to fulfill her purpose as a healer, but when tragedy strikes, she must put aside her own desires and fight to protect her family.”\The series stars Alexandra Daddario as Rowan, Jack Huston as Lasher, Tongayi Chirisa as Ciprien Grieve, and Harry Hamlin as Cortland Mayfair. Season 2 will also introduce new cast members including Alyssa Jirrels as Moira Mayfair, Ted Levine as Julien Mayfair, Thora Birch as Gifford Mayfair, Ben Feldman as Sam Larkin, Callan McAuliffe as Abel Mayfair, Franka Potente as Annamieke, and Ian Pirie as Ian Mayfair. The series hails from *Masters of Sex*’s Esta Spalding and Michelle Ashford, who are both serving as writers and executive producers.
