Four Layton Fire Department medics are recovering from serious injuries after their ambulance rolled in a crash.
A Layton Fire Department ambulance is seen toppled on a South Ogden, Utah, street on Monday afternoon, Aug. 5, 2024, after it was broadsided by an SUV as it was transporting a patient to the hospital. Four LFD EMTs inside were seriously injured.
"I've noticed a lot of times those trucks will be coming out with their lights and sirens going, and you'll see cars that just keep on going, and they aren't pulling over, giving them the time and space they need to get out," Hunter said. As the investigation continues, Drake expressed relief that no lives were lost but stressed the importance of responsible driving.
