Amazon Web Services is experiencing a significant outage affecting numerous online services, including Amazon Alexa and Snapchat.

The disruption extends to platforms operating on the cloud network. According to a post on Amazon's website, the company is investigating errors primarily on the East Coast, though the outages are impacting services globally. AWS cited an “operational issue” affecting “multiple services” and said it was “working on multiple parallel paths to accelerate recovery,” in an update at 2:01 a.m. PDT.said that user reports indicated problems at sites including Amazon, Disney+, Lyft, the McDonald’s app, the New York Times, Reddit, Ring, Robinhood, Snapchat, T-Mobile, United Airlines, Venmo and Verizon. Some United and Delta customers reported on social media that they couldn’t find their reservations online, check in or drop bags. The cause of the outage has not been confirmed, and there is no clear timeline for when service will be restored.
