Buffalo, N.Y. — An Amazon delivery driver who pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a crash that killed a Rochester man outside a Buffalo Bills game last fall

Khairullah Hasein , 32, of Buffalo , is charged with leaving the scene of an incident resulting in death, after a 65-year-old man from Rochester was struck by a delivery vehicle and killed outside Highmark Stadium moments before a Buffalo Bills game kicked off Monday, Nov. 13, 2023.

Prosecutors said Khairullah Hasein, now 33, of Buffalo, was delivering packages Nov. 13 when his vehicle struck and killed William Young, 65, on Southwestern Boulevard in Orchard Park, just north of the stadium, moments after kickoff. Prosecutors: Amazon delivery driver charged in deadly hit-and-run outside Bills game had son in car with him

According to prosecutors, Hasein continued driving after hitting Young and didn't report the incident. His vehicle was later found damaged on Mills Street in Buffalo. Police arrested Hasein and charged him with leaving the scene of an incident resulting in death. Hasein pleaded guilty Feb. 6 to leaving the scene of an incident resulting in death without reporting. A judge sentenced him Thursday to 120 days jail, followed by five years of probation.
