Amazon hired the former privacy chief of Yahoo and Slack for its 'Alexa Trust' team, as it looks to tighten user privacy for its voice assistant
Amazon has added Anne Toth to its Alexa Trust team that oversees the voice assistant's privacy and security policies.
User privacy and security has been a hot-button issue for Amazon in recent years, following reports of employees listening to private conversations through Alexa recordings. Toth joined Amazon in August and is now the director of Alexa Trust, according to people familiar with the matter.
