While the Mets are still way out of the playoff race and eight games under .500, it’s a step in the right direction.
For the first time in over a month, the Mets have won two games in a row and have taken a series.
They did so against the San Francisco Mets, I mean Giants, over the weekend, taking down J.D. Davis, Wilmer Flores and an injured Michael Conforto. While the Mets are still way out of the playoff race and eight games under .500, it’s a step in the right direction and a minor hurdle this team needed to get over.
Maybe the calendar change did it for Buck Showalter’s squad?
