Olympic champion Alysa Liu has withdrawn from the world figure skating championships, and the U.S. team is replacing her with Sarah Everhardt for the competition beginning March 24 in Prague. Liu has been busy with media and other obligations since becoming the first American woman to win Olympic gold since Sarah Hughes in 2002.
