are looking to send a powerful message with the help of quite a few big names.
On Wednesday , Aly & AJ released the video for their track “Star Maps,” showing the pair in a vintage Hollywood setting, performing for a cast of some of their favorite stars. Amongst the many star appearing in the video arealums Willam Belli and Mariah Balenciaga, along with actors like Thomas Middleditch, Brenda Song, Dabney Coleman and more.
Throughout the video, Aly & AJ perform on a small stage in front of a set of ‘50s-style microphones, as the crowd of peculiar characters look on. While the video’s start shows the women feeling uncomfortable at a few leering looks from these strangers, they eventually take their own agency, performing the house down, regardless of what those around them are doing.magazine back in May, the duo said that “Star Maps” was written at the height of the #MeToo movement as a song of vindication.
