Manchester City defeated Newcastle United on Saturday night thanks to Julian Alvarez' winning strike.
The Blues continued their winning start to the new season by putting another six points on the board with a 1-0 win over Newcastle on Saturday. It was Alvarez himself who got the winning striker in the first half as he fired into the far top corner after being teed up by Phil Foden.

I’m always happy when I’m called upon to play, it’s a great feeling and I always try to give my best to help the team.”Alvarez has tended to play in place of Kevin De Bruyne and now the brilliant Belgian faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines he could be seeing a lot more minutes in the coming weeks.
