Members of militant groups AlterMidya Network andPinoy Weekly filed complaints of red-tagging and illegal seizure against government agencies and state security agents before the Commission on Human Rights.

Members of militant groups AlterMidya and Pinoy Weekly asked the Commission on Human Rights on Thursday to look into the alleged illegal confiscation of copies of their publications on Sunday.

“We are calling on your good office to conduct investigation on these incidents and hold accountable those who will be found guilty of violating our right to publish and the people’s right to access our media outfits,” the complaint read.
