Alo Beauty created a clean and aerosol-free dry shampoo that promises instant volume and zero white cast. Read one Glamour editor's review of the product.
When it comes to choosing a dry shampoo, I find myself in a bit of a conundrum. My hair is fine—making it easy for oil to accumulate at the root—but my actual strands are plentiful and dense. When I use dry shampoo, I usually have to spray a very generous amount to really soak up all the dirt and oil. However, the problem with overspraying is that it usually leads to gross buildup and a dirty, gritty feeling on my scalp.
Targeting my middle part and crown, I applied a generous spray and waited for the instructed 30 seconds. Then I gently rubbed the formula in and quickly saw my blowout come back to life. Using a power combination of amla , vitamin E, biotin, and sesame oil, the formula creates a just-washed bounce and shine that doesn't feel heavy on strands, even after the heaviest spray. My hair felt fresh and clean and I could easily run my hand and brush through it.
