Health Minister Joe Phaahla's alleged attempt to hide R1.2 billion in tender corruption is playing out in court following an application for him to disclose an investigative report that detailed widespread graft.

News24 has seen the application filed this week in the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria by Dr Buyani Makhubu, who stated in an affidavit he needed the forensic report, dated October 2020, for his separate legal action to challenge his July 2022"unfair firing" as the North West health department's supply chain management director.Read this for free
