Zanele Khoza is the brains behind online television platform Inkosi TV.
“It’s been a dream of mine to tell real true African stories,” Zanele says of her brainchild, which has been in the making for more than two decades. Inkosi TV has been in the making since 1999 when she started studying video technology. “The dream is to travel Africa, to document and tell real African stories.”
Zanele says her love for television led to her studying video technology at the Durban University of Technology. She went on to work for the South African Broadcasting Corporation , where she received training then was permanently employed, gaining skills in video editing, camera operation, scriptwriting, and TV presenting.
After two decades of working towards achieving her goal, it finally happened. The 40-year-old launched her own online TV platform, Inkosi TV, that tells African stories through various formats – from documentaries to music – last year.
