If there's only one thing Game of Thrones has taught us, its that no one can be trusted.
Just as viewers have been advised not to get attached to any character on Game of Thrones—mostly because the favorites always die—it’s likely best for fans not to trust any of them either, especially since just about all of them have lied and betrayed on some level during the seven seasons of the HBO series's existence.
Over the course of GOT’s seven seasons, so far, there have been at least 83 known acts of betrayal. Graphic design site, Vennage, created an infographic depicting the spirals of betrayals that have occurred since GOT first debuted in 2011 . The site combed through each season and counted every breach of trust between Season 1 and 7 and discovered there was an average of 1.2 betrayals per episode.
It should come to no surprise that the mad queen Cersei Lannister tops the list of betrayals staring with the ultimate crossing of her late husband King Robert Baratheon, who was seemingly unaware that all three of his children with Cersei were actually fathered by his brother-in-law and Cersei’s twin, Jamie Lannister.
