I know my late father would be very proud of what we are putting together."
The upcoming show also follows on from Mushroom's other big-scale birthday bashes: such as 1983's 10th anniversary concert at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and 1998's Mushroom 25 Live at the MCG – the largest ever ticketed concert in Australian music history at the time, with 73,000 in attendance. Mushroom 50 Live takes place Sunday 26 November at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Land.
