Women and people of color are under-represented in the media and at tech events. An organization founded by women investors wants to do something about that.
All Raise wants to help women broaden their networks
In addition to helping raise the visibility of such women, All Raise is hoping to help them broaden their networks of contacts. The reason why there aren't more women or people of color in the tech industry is not that there aren't enough qualified people in those groups but they simply don't have the same business and social networks that white men in particular have, Kostka said.
"All raise wants to pull down those structural barriers and make it a more even playing field," Kostka said.
