It will start on 19 March effectively CIMB TechNave

In this short news, CIMB Malaysia just announced that from 19 March 2023 onwards, all FPX transactions above RM100 will require SecureTAC approval. This is in line with the regulator’s direction to combat financial scams.

The SecureTAC approval will appear on the CIMB Clicks App and this should minimise scam risks further. That said, it should be noted that the SecureTAC function has not arrived yet in the early version of the CIMB OCTO App. So for the time being, any FPX transactions can only be approved on CIMB Clicks.

CIMB Clicks is available to download on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store as well as the Huawei AppGallery. Remember that no normal phone numbers or companies will simply ask for your TAC number. Stay safe and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
