All Faiths Pantry annually presents live bands performing a variety of genres for its annual Music Feeds People fundraiser.
While recent soirees featured reggae and blues, this year the nonprofit is rolling out the barrel for the 1 p.m. Saturday event at the German Central Foundation on York Road.
“We chose a polka party because we have themes each year. We wanted to appeal to the entire community.” “We really want to get the word out, especially now to seniors, 60 years and over,” she said. “Prices right now are affecting everyone but especially seniors on fixed incomes. The Old Brooklyn nonprofit, which serves Parma, Parma Heights and other local communities, provides monthly free groceries to the homes of low-income senior citizens and those with limited mobility.
