This comes as parts of Los Angeles County are under a red flag warning. Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger released a statement saying she is closely monitoring the fires. She urged residents to follow orders and be ready to go.is burning off 110th Street West and West Avenue E near the unincorporated Antelope Acres community, about 17 minutes west of Lancaster.
Evacuation warnings and a shelter-in-place order were issued for some nearby residents, and by 6:20 p.m., they were all lifted. Los Angeles County firefighters first responded to the fire shortly after noon, and by 2 p.m., officials said forward progress had stopped. So far, there are no reported injuries, damage, or threats to any structures.
, burning near 70th Street East and East Avenue G, east of Lancaster, shortly after 2 p.m. In a later update, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said forward progress was stopped at 4:11 p.m., and the fire is holding at 60 acres.
