In a major boost for New Zealand Rugby, a seasoned All Blacks campaigner has extended his contract through to 2026.
Anton Lienert-Brown, who reached a significant milestone of 100 matches for the Chiefs in Super Rugby in May, has proven himself as a pivotal and formidable player in both domestic and international rugby.
With the likes of Tana Umaga, Conrad Smith, and Ma’a Nonu ahead of him, Lienert-Brown aims to continue his upward trajectory and make his mark on the international stage.“The constant challenge to better myself by competing against elite players was something I thought about a lot when making this decision,” Lienert-Brown said in a statement. “I feel like I’ve still got something to prove to myself.
His versatility and skill make him a vital asset for the All Blacks as they prepare for the Rugby World Cup in France, and despite a shoulder injury limiting his appearances last season, he is set to play a crucial role in their campaign.
