8 Adric Adric was a companion of both the Fourth and Fifth Doctors and ultimately lost his life after a run-in with the Neomorph Cybermen. While the Doctor, Nyssa, and Tegan were stuck aboard the TARDIS, Jamie found himself on a Cybermen freighter ship, trying to change its ongoing course due to crash into a pre-historic Earth. With the TARDIS damaged, the Doctor was unable to stop the ship. Adric faced the same issue with the freighter's controls, and he eventually accepted his demise.
4 Bill Potts Bill Potts was the last companion of the Twelfth Doctor, who lost her life after being converted into a Cyberman in the episode "World Enough and Time." Heartbreakingly, Bill's mind was still conscious inside her new body and wasn't aware she had been converted. A battle erupted across the several levels of the Cybermen's ship, and the Doctor was knocked unconscious as it came to an end.
