There were thirteen planets introduced in the sequel series, and some of them were destroyed by the Starkiller Base. What are they and which are left?
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Every Star Wars movie expands the galaxy in some way, and the sequel trilogy was no different, with each film introducing new planets and moons. Some of these called back to the worlds from the original trilogy, while others felt much more fresh and exciting. Many seem to have their own cultures and ecosystems - but, of course, quite a few wound up in the crosshair of the First Order.
12 Takodana Takodana is a beautiful world known as the home of Han Solo's old friend Maz Kanata - an ancient being who's been part of the galaxy's criminal underworld for centuries. Han takes Rey to Jakku in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, unfortunately drawing the First Order's attention.
9 Starkiller Base Later revealed to be the sacred Jedi world Ilum, Starkiller Base was a world rich in kyber that was eventually transformed into a planet-sized superweapon. Starkiller Base was far more dangerous than the Death Star, able to destroy entire star systems. The Resistance managed to blow it up, in an act that mirrored the destruction of the Death Star over Yavin 4.
5 Ajan Kloss A beautiful forested world, Luke Skywalker comapred Ajan Kloss to Dagobah due to the sheer amount of life there. It was charted by Alderaanian scouts during the Dark Times of the Empire's reign, and it was set aside as a potential rebel base. Flashbacks in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker revealed Luke Skywalker trained with his sister Leia on Ajan Kloss, and it later became another Resistance base.
