"It's comfortable to wear. You feel good," she continued. "It's really a real luxury to be able to be dressed by him." Theactress went on to praise the designer, as a champion of diversity and inclusion in the fashion industry. "He's a remarkable human being," she said of Siriano. "I think he's a very much needed example for people who might be intimidated by the fashion industry."Linney also recalled a specific look she "really loved," citing the "white dress" with "black piping" that she wore to the Emmy Awards in 2022.
"He doesn't exclude anybody in the world of fashion and that is so, so important to me," Hyland said. "I was born and raised in New York, so that's how I was taught, just to love every person no matter how they identify or what they look like," she continued. "I just love that he is able to truly express that through his fashion. Always very happy to be here back in my hometown and especially to support Christian.
As for her favorite Siriano-designed look? "The 2014 Emmys," Hyland revealed. "It was Joan Rivers' last Emmys 'Best Dressed.' It was the white top with the custom ballgown skirt. It was my favorite look I think I have probably ever worn on the Emmys' red carpet," she said.
