Deliberations continue in the trial of a TikTok star accused of killing his wife and her friend.
A California jury continues deliberating Tuesday after weeks of testimony in the trial of a former TikTok star accused of murdering his estranged wife and her friend.Ali Abulaban, 31, is facing two charges of first-degree murder related to the Oct. 21, 2021 deaths of Ana Abulaban, 28, and Rayburn Barron, 29. The two were fatally shot in the face in a San Diego high-rise apartment that Ali and Ana Abulaban shared.
The morning before the fatal shooting, Ali Abulaban entered the apartment building using a key he copied. He allegedly smashed items, threw Ana Abulaban's clothes down a garbage chute and installed a listening app on their 5-year-old daughter's iPad.Through the app, he was able to remotely listen in on conversations happening in the apartment. He allegedly became angry after hearing his estranged wife and her friend laughing, so he drove back to the apartment and killed them.
