Alfa Romeo is working on a flagship rumored to adopt the 6C moniker and the Quadrifoglio's 2.9-liter V6 car auto cars
Alfa Romeo is cooking up something good, and the results of its hard work will be revealed on August 30, it revealed today. Expected to be a supercar, the new Alfa Romeo will reportedly borrow inspiration from the brand’s legendary past and be called the 6C.

That further fueled rumors that the car will join Alfa Romeo’s recent line of halo cars, including the 8C and the 4C. Given the rumors of the 6C name, and the flagship status of the upcoming Alfa, a six-cylinder engine is expected. And Alfa Romeo has a very strong V6 to call upon.
