The Social 50 is powered by data tracked by music analytics company Next Big Sound and ranks the most popular artists on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Wikipedia. The chart's methodology blends weekly additions of friends/fans/followers with artist page views and engagement. The chart's latest tracking week ended Aug. 22.
Benjamin’s debut has everything to do with a recent tour through Asia and, in particular, a stop in Seoul that led to a photo posted to social media with“SEOUL WAS AMAZING!” Benjamin tweeted Aug. 18. “Thanks so much for coming to my show, Jimin. :)” The accompanying photo showed Benjamin and the BTS member.
