Dave Halls' plea agreement was approved by a judge Friday. The 'Rust' assistant director handled the gun the day cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died.
Halls was one of three people to be charged in connection to Hutchins' death.Alec Baldwin will resume filming"Rust" in the spring in Montana at Yellowstone Filming Ranch.
Halls' attorney previously claimed the assistant director did not hand off the gun to Baldwin, despite search warrants confirming he had told police he did. Alec Baldwin makes a gun with his fingers while speaking with investigators following the"Rust" movie shooting that left cinematographer Halyna Hutchins dead in October 2021.The prosecution has also been plagued with issues as Baldwin and Gutierrez-Reed's lawyers fight for a fair trial.
