Alec Baldwin has officially returned to the “Rust” film set.
The actor was pictured holding a gun backwards as filming resumed for the Western movie in Montana on Friday – just one day after the involuntary manslaughter charges relating to theA scruffy Baldwin, 65, sported a brown coat, gray shirt, pants and cowboy boots as he held a rifle by its barrel. His costume also included a cowboy hat and a scarf around his neck.
It wasn’t clear whether the “Departed” star was filming a scene – or just holding the weapon in that manner as a precaution – in the exact moment of when the pics were snapped.It comes 18 months after Halyna Hutchins was killed on set.“Rust” filming relocated to the Yellowstone Film Ranch in Montana’s Paradise Valley from New Mexico, where Hutchins, the film’s former cinematographer, tragically died on Oct. 21, 2021.
Production initially halted after the actor’s prop pistol fired a real bullet, killing the 42-year-old and injuring director Joel Souza.Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed has not been cleared of charges.
