In a adorable video shared to Instagram yesterday, the actor appears shocked and delighted to learn that the oldest of his eight children, daughter Ireland, is expecting.
The movie star’s oldest daughter Ireland Baldwin announced her pregnancy just in time for the new year. Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin, shared the news and her husband’s reaction on Instagram Monday.
In the video, Baldwin wrangles his seven youngest kids as daughter Carmen, 9, makes an important announcement. “So you guys know what uncle means. It means that your sister or brother is pregnant, or they have a kid,” Carmen says, pointing to each of her siblings and telling them they’ll be an uncle or an aunt with the new arrival.
“What am I?” Alec asks.“You’re going to be a grandpa, Ireland is pregnant.” Carmen replies. At this revelationvoice actor covers his eyes in shock before flashing a big smile at the camera and joining the whole family in sending their congratulations to Ireland and her boyfriend RAC. “From all these excited tiny uncles and aunties and grandpa Alec and grandma me… We are so happy for you, Ireland and Andre…can’t wait to meet the little babe,” Hilaria captioned the post. Ireland responded back to her family, “Awwww thank you guys. The littlest aunts and uncles!”
Ireland, who has been dating recording artist RAC since 2021, confirmed her pregnancy news on Instagram with photos of her ultrasound and a positive pregnancy test. The model also shared a photo of her slumped over the toilet while she dealt with morning sickness with the caption, “If I haven’t gotten back to you…it’s because this was me for the past while.
