The UK has gone into lockdown owing to the coronavirus pandemic and people are only allowed to leave the house for a certain few set reasons, one of which is to shop for essential supplies.
However, supermarket Aldi may have a solution. They have today announced that those that work for the NHS, police or fire service will have priority entry in their stores no matter when they shop. The high street store tweeted: “We’re here for emergency workers. All day everyday key workers in the NHS, Police and Fire Service will take priority ahead of queues into our stores upon showing a valid ID.
