Shopping Writer and skincare fanatic Rachel Williams tried out Aldi's premium range to see if it was worth the hype
If there is one thing that we can all absolutely remain certain on, it's that budget supermarket Aldi is the place to be for nabbing some sweet bargains.
Now, the supermarket has expanded the cult-classic range with a brand new anti-aging and hydrating Caviar skincare range that is infused with real gold. Included in the line-up are three skincare staples - a moisturising SPF15 Day Cream , hydrating Eye Cream and illuminating Face Serum Luckily, Aldi's Illumination Day Cream is said to be "deeply nourishing" and comes with SPF15 - so, double result for me here.
While I have never tried the expensive brand before, I can safely say that Aldi's budget version is deeply nourishing and left my skin with a beautiful golden tint. Priced at a pocket-friendly £5.99, the product is said to combat both fatigued eyes and lacklustre skin, which is, sadly, something I have always suffered from.
