Grocery chain Aldi is introducing a new “Aldi Blind Box,” the grocery store’s take on the popular surprise unboxing trend. The grocery bundles, packed with surprise products, give Aldi customers a limited-time chance to claim a free box filled with the retailer's “fan-favorite products,” according to a press release. From June 22 through June 25, a new Aldi Blind Box will be released each day at 12:00 p.m. ET.
Shoppers will need to visit“Our shoppers come to ALDI for value, but they also come for discovery. From viral ALDI Finds to tried-and-true products shoppers love to tell their friends about, people love the thrill of discovering something new here. With surprise unboxings more popular than ever, this is our way of helping customers discover even more favorites,” said Bridget Kozlowski, Director of Communications at Aldi.
The boxes come in four themes: the Snack Blind Box, Fiber Blind Box, Protein Blind Box and a Mystery Blind Box, which the chain says is"all about surprise.
" While Aldi isn’t revealing what’s inside just yet, the chain says shoppers can look forward to a curated assortment of products from across the store.
