Tristin Gibson, 21, of Hubert, North Carolina, died in the crash that happened about 3:15 a.m. on US-6 near Decatur Street, the release says. A 24-year-old man from Panama City, Florida, was in the front passenger seat of the car. He is currently at MetroHealth with serious injuries, but is in stable condition, the release says. The injured man was not identified.Gibson was driving a beige 2011 Chevrolet Malibu east on US-6 near Decatur Street when he crossed the center divider in the road, went into the opposite lane of travel, hit a utility pole and struck a home, the release says.
