Alex Albon firmly believes that Williams’ FW44 could have been “much quicker” had it fixed the balance issues that left it “tied in” at certain tracks.Albon made his Formula 1 comeback, signing with Williams last year. The Thai driver spent 2021 as Red Bull’s reserve driver after being dropped by the team in 2020.
Albon gave Williams their best finish of ninth in Miami. The Thai driver also score points in Belgium and, most notably, Australia after his unique one-stop strategy. The 26-year-old believes that the team know what needs to be done to unlock more pace in the car. It is just about finding it.
