Albay eyes enough electricity this year

With three additional power substations coming up, Albay expects to be a brownout-free province this year.

The fund has been deposited with the National Electrification Administration prior to implementation of the projects. “The upgraded electrical facilities will maintain consistent voltage levels, improve reliability and enhance economic growth as it will lead to fewer business disruptions, increased productivity, and the potential to attract new businesses, fostering job creation and economic growth,” he explained.
