Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has praised United States President Joe Biden for his 'moral clarity' in how he responded to the Israel-Hamas conflict.

The military surrounded one of the world's most famous buildings, which had been decorated with Australian and American flags. "All Australians condemn the atrocities, terror and pitiless brutality of Hamas. And Mr President, we applaud the personal resolve you have brought to this trouble part of the world," the Prime Minister said to the crowd.
"Israel has the right - and I would add, responsibility - to respond to the slaughter of their people. And we will ensure Israel has what it needs to defend itself against these terrorists. That's a guarantee." "So with optimism and with determination let us pledge to make this a time when hope and history of rhythm. Let us write the next chapter of our alliance together."
