ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Eight members of the Alaska National Guard Civil Support Team recently volunteered to travel to Washington D.C. to provide additional security at Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony.
“We respond and work jointly with other agencies such as the FBI, DEA, fire department, and police department,” she said. “If there are situations where a hazard is suspected, we can identify presumptively certain hazards, like chemical, biological, nuclear, radiological hazards.”
