Sylvester Stallone embarks on a treacherous mission yet again in the newly released trailer for Lionsgate's Alarum.
Willa FitzgeraldThe newly released trailer introduces Eastwood’s Joe and Fitzgerald’s Laura, a married couple who also happen to be retired assassins living under the radar. While spending their peaceful retreat, the two get thrown back into their dangerous past when they get suspected of joining a shady team of spies called Alarum. The film also stars Mike Colter , Isis Valverde, and D. W. Moffett.
Per the official synopsis, Alarum — described as an “explosive action-thriller — is “about two married spies caught in the crosshairs of an international intelligence network that will stop at nothing to obtain a critical asset. Joe and Laura are agents living off the grid whose quiet retreat at a winter resort is blown to shreds when members of the old guard suspect the two may have joined an elite team of rogue spies, known as Alarum.
Stallone is one of the biggest names in the action genre, known for his iconic roles in the Rambo film series, Demolition Man, Cop Land, The Expendables, and the Rocky film franchise, among others. He most recently starred in Paramount+’s crime drama series, Tulsa King. Eastwood, on the other hand, has starred in a number of features like Enter Nowhere, Texas Chainsaw 3D, The Longest Ride, Snowden, Pacific Rim Uprising, and 1992. Meanwhile, Fitzgerald is known for her roles in television shows like Reacher, Scream, Little Women, and Dare Me. Her feature credits include Freak Show, Desperation Road, and Strange Darling.Benedict Cumberbatch has resolved the mystery of whether Doctor Strange will be joining the cast of Avengers: Doomsday.
